This Class session is a one off 3-hour guided instructed session. It is a great class to introduce you to the art of Handbuilding with clay , if you fall in love with playing with clay then
you can continue with a beginners course or even a 2 day taster to create more pieces with underglaze painting.
It will guide you through a basic technique used in Handbuilding with Clay to create a functional piece such as mug , plate or bowl. we will glaze and fire your piece
ready to be picked up in 4 weeks.
It includes earthenware clay 500 grams, two firings, and clear glazing done by us.
These sessions run every
Friday from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm
AND Wednesday evenings at 6.45pm
You will be learning basic pottery skills such as pinch pot, coiling, or slab techniques to create a functional piece.
No Underglaze paint is included in these sessions.
