During the session, you’ll be introduced to the foundations of handbuilding with clay, including:
- Pinch pot techniques
- Coil building
- Slab building
- Joining and shaping clay
- Creating functional pottery forms
- Basic finishing techniques
You’ll learn how clay is shaped, built and prepared for firing while enjoying a fun, hands-on creative experience.

- 500g white earthenware clay
- Use of all required handbuilding tools
- Tutor guidance throughout the session
- Bisque firing
- Glazing service
- Final glaze firing
Your finished piece will be food safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe once completed.
