This is a great beginner class with hand-building.
It is a live 6 x class 3 -hour session in the studio, where you come and create with clay using 3 different basic techniques, using Pinch Pot, Coiling, and Slab clay work then the following weeks you can choose to design a piece like a larger vase or bowel using two or three of these techniques to create your pieces till week 5.
In week six you will paint all your creations with underglazes and we will show you some ceramic painting techniques to do on your creations.
With all your pieces completed, you will glaze them and will be fired,
This is all-inclusive in price. You have to do this course for consecutive weeks as no make-up classes are allowed.

You will be focusing on all 3 basic hand-building pottery techniques.to make simple pinch pot bowls or mugs or pot planters and then move on to more complicated ventures. Choose your colors and design to make all your pieces unique and functional as these can be used every day and go into the dishwasher and microwave.
You will glaze it with a clear glaze, and your colors will brighten up and leave you with a glossy and bright finish.
We will provide you with what you need with our tools to use AND includes all firings, Underglaze paints of your choice, and glaze for all your pieces.
All Care will be taken from our staff loading into the kiln, we have been doing this for 20 years and we know what we are doing.
However, any mishaps that happen in the kiln like crakes or explosions of your piece we will not be responsible for and all clean-ups will be at your cost.
All pieces will need at least 3-4 weeks for firing and glazing. You must return to pick up your creations from the studio at a later date.
